Dear Sisters and Brothers,
There are new little Christians everywhere you look. Last weekend, before the Sunday Mass, I baptized Anderson Hamlet, and, during the two upcoming Masses, we will have baptisms during the liturgy for the first time in I don’t know how long. Olive LaSalle will be baptized this Sunday by Fr. Patrick, and Felix Nanavarti will be baptized on the 19th by Deacon Fritz Bauerschmidt, who makes a most welcome, brief return to Corpus Christi. Please keep these children, their parents, and godparents in your prayers. I hope witnessing and participating in these sacraments will speak of a Church continually being renewed and of our own responsibility to share and foster the faith for others.
