Dear Sisters and Brothers,
As the summer truly embraces us and pandemic metrics continue to improve, I hope that parishioners are able to return more and more to something like normal lives. There are some changes on the horizon, some welcome, some less so. It is my understanding that the city will lift its indoor mask mandate and that the Archdiocese will follow suit for Masses at city parishes. Separately, the Sunday Mass at St. Ignatius, where I still have a ministerial assignment, will be moving to ten o’clock in July. I will likely begin alternating Sundays between Corpus Christi and St. Ignatius. Fr. Patrick Besel will continue to preside, I believe, for the foreseeable future.
I continue to be heartened by the support (spiritual, moral and financial) so many of you offer for the life and work of the parish. Know of my sincere gratitude and of my continuing prayers for each of you.
