Dear Parishioners,
Hosanna to the Son of David! Hosanna in the highest!
Those are the words that the crowd sang out when Jesus entered Jerusalem for that final fateful week of his life on this earth. They were praising him and waving palm branches – excited to be in his presence.
Unfortunately, this year we as a Bolton Hill community will not be able to sing out as we process through our streets. The pandemic has caused the clergy to decide that it would not be a wise thing to do.
However, hopefully, we will be able to sing out as we gather at Corpus Christi for the 10:30 am Mass on Palm Sunday, weather permitting, on the church’s parking lot. Yes, it will be a little different – but, then, so was Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem a little different. So come and join us!
