Dear Parishioners,
As I mentioned during the Christmas celebrations – God made us a promise and God fulfilled it in sending us his Son. Recall I said that on the day of our baptism a promise was made as well. In this case, the promise was made by us – that we would be faithful to the call we have been given as members of the Body of Christ.
Today we remember the Baptism of the Lord and as we do let us also remember our own baptismal day. Let us make sure that in this New Year we will allow the promise we made to be lived out through our words and deeds each and every day.
