Here we are celebrating the final Sunday of Advent already. The Gospel this weekend reminds us of what we are preparing for – the great celebration of the coming of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, whose birth we shall remember this week.
Thanks be to God, that the virgin Mary was willing to say ‘yes’ to God’s salvation plan and to her humble role in that plan.
We too, are part of that salvific plan and like Mary we all have a role to play in bringing Jesus present in our world through our word and our deeds.
In these most challenging times, let us pray that Mary intercede to God for us and for our world. May her Son, the Prince of Peace, bring peace and tranquility to our world and to each of us.
